Bassett Furniture - Very poor customer service

Spent quite a bit of time making selection of a sectional with chase lounge.
We committed to purchase the item for just under $5,000, after being enticed by the sales staff and manager with a financing offer of three years no interest. We filled out the financial information but Bassett had computer problems conecting to Wells Fargo and werenโt able to complete the purchase. We were told โnot a problem as long as you come in first thing Monday morningโ which we did. Upon review of the paperwork, the financing was over one year not three as advertised.
The manager indicated the offer was no longer available. He was quite dismissive blaming Wells Fargo while showing absolutely no interest in upholding their promotion or offering any solution. We indicated the promotion was a significant part of our decision to purchase, he replied โokโ. When asked to contact Wells Fargo to assist in remedying the situation he was very aloof and simply indicated it wasnโt their issue, it was all on Wells Fargo.
Needless to say, we were quite disappointed in the lack of customer service and have chosen to take our business elsewhere. .
